The details for the services for Mom this coming Friday, April 18th are listed below. We hope all who wish to attend can be with us to celebrate Mom's life and be together as family/friends. Family members, please be sure to read and respond to the italicized section below.
We will have a display with pictures and memorabilia for all to experience before or after the services (and likely a video presentation before and after the memorial service and after the graveside service).
The following will be held at
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
in Gig Harbor, WA.
8002 Dorotich St, Gig Harbor, WA 98335
For a map/driving directions: click HERE
Open Casket Viewing: 10 - 11am
Memorial Service: Noon
Graveside Service: 1:30pm
Haven of Rest Cemetery
8503 State Route 16 NW, Gig Harbor, WA
(253) 851-9991
Directly off Highway 16 heading Westbound, just beyond the Gig Harbor City Center exit.
Maps will be available at the Memorial service.
After the graveside service a luncheon will be provided for family/relatives by Mom's ward/church family back at the church!
We need to get a head count of family members planning to attend any of the services and luncheon so the appropriate number of seats are saved and enough food is provided.
Please email or call Debbie Cook, deb_cook@hotmail.com 530-284-7200 by Tuesday and indicate:
*how many in your party, (even if it's tentative...we need an approximate idea)
*what services you will be attending
*if you will attend the late luncheon
If you can not make it we will miss you but totally understand!

Renae & family: I am so sorry to hear your dear mother had passed on. I can't imagine the mixed emotions you are feeling amid exhaustion but how wonderful you got to spend her last moments on earth serving her.
I remember spending Christmas with your family just before I moved to AZ and your mom was so thoughtful and got me my own stocking filled with sunscreen and aloe! I remember making brownies with you, her and Michelle and singing and dancing to the jukebox in the kitchen. Good times! She was so beautiful and classy.
My prayers are with you and your family at this time. I will be thinking of you on Friday. God Bless, Christi Billquist
Dear Renae, Michelle and Ron:
Ron, thank you for sending me your phone number(s) so I could have some time with Sandie - it was very nice of you to do that. Ron, I really like what you wrote as a farwell to your loving wife.
Michelle, thank you for your friendly talks on the phone - your mother spoke of you often and how much she enjoyed you and her grandchildren. I used to kid her about having frequent air miles for all her trips to Salt Lake. May God bless you and your family and your new child to come.
Reane - what a troper you are. Organizing this blog and all of the activities at the house - you are an amazing women and from what I see and hear, a lot like your Mom.
As you may have guessed, Sandie and I were special friends and she has a place in my heart that will never go away - she spoke about my grieving about my Mom who passed away this passed September, but I knew she was also telling me how to grieve for her - Linda was laughing when she was telling me this as I was not allowed to speak until your Mom had her say first. You know I would be there if I could, but the distance is just too far for me, but know that I am there in spirit.
May the Lord bless you and give you His peace in your time of loss.
Love, Gary
Mo and fam: I wish I could make it Friday to celebrate your moms life. I was secretly hoping you would have the services on Saturday. Steve is out of town all week and I have the kids! I wish I could work it out. Love you guys and I am thinking about you often!
Love, Linds
Please update with info and pictures if possible of the services for those of us who could not attend.
Thanks!
Kay
